Chicago-born and Denver-based artist, Nick Brown, better known as Illenium has made waves this year – from headlining the biggest festivals, releasing chart topping tracks, and selling out every show, the man’s unstoppable. Breaking boundaries, Illenium’s been diverting shows which normally encompass a single DJ in a booth turning tables to making it more of an experiential and interactive experience with his live sets. For Illenium’s Awake 2.0 tour, which encompassed a full band. With a dedicated drummer and an exceptional guitarist, Illenium sold out three back-to-back shows at New York City’s Terminal 5.
At the end of his sold-out show, Illenium revealed to fans something every artist strives for. "I got some news today that I'm not supposed to tell people, but I really wanna tell people," he said. "I'm coming back next year to play Madison Square Garden." That’s right, Illenium is playing at Madison Square Garden in 2019!
Prior to his announcement, Illenium released his brand-new track “God Damnit” with Call Me Karizma. Like his success, the track represents his bold progression. The track’s soundscape is unlike any other of his tracks. His elusive switch from bass to rap punctuated by hand claps, wavy beats, and guitar renders a sound like any other. The track proves his uncanny style for producing music of any genre – there are no bounds.
